Located to the east of the Caravelle peninsula, Anse de la Brêche is a fine sandy beach that will delight those in search of peace.
The sand is brown. The water is not clear, but swimming is permitted. The water in all the island's streams is monitored and graded by the Agence Régionale de Santé (ARS) (Local Health Authority) and has been judged to be excellent.
Tables and benches are available for picnics in the shade. There is a mangrove near Anse de la Brêche.
Go to the commune of Trinité, then head for Tartane. Once in Tartane, follow the signs for "Château Dubuc". A sign announces the beach.
